Nothing beats a hot apple toddy on a cold winters night. Some strips of orange or lemon zest are also a nice addition.
Ingredients

500ml apple cider or sparkling apple juice

1 cinnamon stick

3cm piece ginger, peeled, sliced

3 cloves

1 tbs honey

120ml brandy

Lemon juice, to taste
Method
1. Place cider, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a medium saucepan and heat gently for 5 minutes, to infuse the flavours.
2. Place 1 teaspoon honey in the base of each glass, top with 30ml brandy and the hot apple cider. Add a squeeze of lemon juice to taste.
